They could win around half a dozen medals at Sochi if they perform to their potential. If so it will give a massive boost to UK snowsports. PlanetSKI met the squad at the Chill Factore in Manchester, along with a large media contingent.
The GB Freestyle team is coming under the spotlight in the run up to Sochi 2014 like never before; expectations are rising.
If they succeed there may be a resurgence of interest in the indoor and artificial slopes in the UK as that is where many of them started.
Sheffield, Halifax and Manchester rather than St Moritz, Hintertux and Meribel.
The eyes of the media are bearing down on them and the pressure will only increase in the coming months as it dawns on a nation that we might actually win our first medal on snow at a Winter Olympics.
The few medals that we have won, 22 in total, have come on ice-skating, curling, skeleton, bobsleigh and luge.
The most medals we ever won at a single Olympics was 4, and that was back at the first one in 1924 in Chamonix.
