Why We Need Your Help
Over the last few years, the British freeski athletes have proved on the global arena that they are some of the best in the world. Until GB Freeski was established in September 2011, this was entirely supported by athletes themselves and their individual sponsors.
Through elite development programs, structured year-round training, full time coaching, athlete education and support systems we believe we can achieve international success and continue to be competitive on a global scale. Without such support, we may struggle to realize the full potential of our individual athletes and the team as a whole.
Although athlete development and performance is a core function of GB Freeski, it is only one aspect of our mission. For the continued success of the GB Freeski Team we must ensure a long-term development pathway to harness and develop the next generation of champions in Great Britain.
Despite minimal funding and support our Team has achieved impressive results, but need sponsorship to grow. Due to the proven record of the GB Freeski Team, we have recently been rewarded by National Lottery funding, but this is only the first step. We need more support to grow.
We invite you to contribute to the success of the GB Freeski Team and help this national team and our elite athletes on the way to the Olympics and beyond.
